Hello,  I am new today to this forum.  I had  resection surgery February 2021 to remove a intramedullary Hemangioblastoma.  The tumor
was benign.  Before surgery I had numbness in my left index finger and thumb.  After surgery my entire left hand was numb and needles and
glass sensations along with my left leg and foot, and groin area.  At my surgeon followup at 6 weeks, I was told I was doing great and no one would even notice.  He retired shortly after my followup session.  Not much has improved in the last 7 months.   I know recovery whatever it is going to be will not be known for up to two years. I am hoping to hear from others with similar surgery and what your recovery path has been.  Jary

I should have added to my original post that the tumor was at C5/C6.
